So here is my second art piece to decorate my apartment walls. I guess it is nice to have some sort of motivation to make these pieces, even though I wish I had more time to do so.
I also mobilized my website, so if you have a smart phone you’ll notice that it will scale nicely with any of the mobile browsers.
So this upcoming week I’ll be moving into my own place with my girlfriend, and we have no idea of how to decorate it. She suggested that we could start by displaying some of my artwork on the walls. I pointed out how 99% of my art is creepy and you probably wouldn’t want to hang it up. So the above illustration is my example to her.

I do not want to be another conduit of information about the tragedy that has recently struck Japan, but I feel that I should some-how contribute.
If you can contribute anything, please text REDCROSS to 90999 number. Each text will contribute 10$ to the Red Cross and aid Japan to their recovery. The charges will apply to your wireless bill. If you would like to donate more, please visit The American Red Cross.
So recently I made the decision to invest in a moleskin sketchbook. Let’s just say I was highly disappointing in the quality of the paper. Drawing on it feels like you’re drawing on wax paper, so I decided to move onto a Canford original spiral-bound sketchbook. These are the first doodles.

Today I’m going to go over a drawing I’m dissatisfied with, and instead of throwing it out I’m going to study it for positives. As well, although some people might like the drawing, I’ll explain why you shouldn’t by going over its flaws, and how to keep an eye out for them in the future. The tools I used for this drawing were a purple Prismacolor COL-ERASE pencil, and a .03 black MICRON pen.

To start us off and to save some face, I’m going to consider this thing just a doodle. The first thing I find wrong with this doodle is that the figure is somewhat awkwardly modeled. It feels as if there is a fight between a flat 2d drawing and a 3d drawing. The solution for this would to be spend more time on the gesture drawing and flush it out. I should have been more confident in his actual form instead of rushing into the inking.
This is a truely inspirational video. It sure is amazing to see young artist like Bobby Hundreds do a collaboration piece with one of my personal favorites, Jim Davis.
Welcome to Stoise 4.0!
It seems that once a year I get the urge to completely re-design everything I own, and this is the result.
Other than re-designing my life, I recently have been swamped with request to create the world “doodles.” My friends and family have just recently discovered my hidden talents, and with the holidays on the horizon their demands are quite draining.
Who am I kidding, I love drawing, and I love doing it for people I care about anymore. I’m going to show you a few doodles I’ve done so far this holiday season. Some of them will have to wait until after Christmas to be revealed, because I have a strong feeling that the people they were created for will read this blog, and ruin the surprise for everyone.
This one was one of the first images I was creating for a coloring book that I’ve been working on. I’m still unsure if this coloring book will see the light of day, but you never know.
